Montréal (Québec), June 16, 2015 --- The Guilde des musiciens et musiciennes du Québec (GMMQ) is pleased to announce that negotiation committees have agreed in principle to the renewal of the GMMQ – ADISQ  Sound Recording Collective Agreement (pour le Phonogramme) on June 10, 2015. Negotiations started five years ago.

The agreement in principle will be presented in detail to the GMMQ members during an assembly to be held as soon as possible. Thereafter, musicians will vote to endorse the new agreement on Sound Recording Collective Agreement (phonogramme).

The Guild thanks the negotiating committee made up of Eric Lefebvre (GMMQ Secretary-Treasurer), Simon Roux (GMMQ Labour Relations Director), Bernard LeBlanc (AFM Director of Canadian Symphonic Services) and musician Maxime Lalanne. We also thank musicians Nathalie Bonin and Ligia Paquin, as well as former GMMQ Board members Myriam Pelletier and Kristin Molnar, who took part in the negotiating committee in the past few years.
