Death Notice : Patrick Vetter, saxophonist

The GMMQ learned with sadness the death of Patrick (Pat) Vetter, saxophonist and GMMQ member since 1980. M. Vetter died on February 12, 2015 at the age of 58. M. Vetter was recognized by his peers as a talented musician with a great sense of humour. He will be deeply missed by the Montreal artistic community.

2015.01.15 - GMMQ President Luc Fortin and Executive Director Mylène Cyr met this morning the Minister of Culture and Communications of Québec, Hélène David.

Death notice : Marcelle Martin Graton

The GMMQ learned with sadness the death of Marcelle Graton, Organist and pianist, on November 3, 2014.

She was organist at the Saint-Viateur church in Outremont for 15 years and at the Saint-Joseph church in Ville Mont-Royal for 45 years. After joining the GMMQ in 1949, she became a life member. She died at the age of 97.
